    Remember this?

"The threat comes from Iraq. It arises directly from the Iraqi regime's own actions -- its history of aggression, and its drive toward an arsenal of terror. ..It is seeking nuclear weapons. It has given shelter and support to terrorism, and practices terror against its own people. The entire world has witnessed Iraq's eleven-year history of defiance, deception and bad faith."

These same words have been coming up a lot today with Iran.

October Surprise or just a window into the future?

Part of the whole PNAC plan. Murkin's fell for it once, didn't they? Bush knows no boundries and has no shame. I think that unless he declares martial law soon and suspends the election, he will loose in a landslide but will still refuse to go.

I have virtually no political opinion at all. Call me a piece of shit if you want to, but i can care less who our comander in chief is. i can care less about his foreign or domestic policy, his position on health care, abortion, capitol punishment, or the state of unemployment for that matter. I choose not to vote because one vote means nothing even if i did have an opinion. Who runs this country has had no positive or negative effect on my life in any significant way in the past 20 years since i have had the opportunity to vote.

One thing i can say though is that the world is just a little bit safer now that Saddam is behind bars, his evil sons are dead, and all his top executives are either killed or captured.

For those who say he didnt have weapons of mass destruction, consider the 10s of thousands of kurds buried in mass graves. the ferry god mother didnt gas them.

do a google search under the phrase "hostage torture" and see first hand videos of iraqi citizens getting their tongues cut out, or military leaders getting their arms broken in half in front of the troops, or men's hands getting chopped off mercilessly. Read first hand accounts of parents being tortured with broken bones, electricity, and beatings as their children are forced to look on, or worse yet, children being tortured as their parents are forced to look on. Read about women being gang raped while her husband is forced to watch. Read about the daily hangings, beheadings, and public tortures of the people who even hinted at a disloyalty towards saddam. Read about iraqi athletes suffering beatings for losing efforts in the olympics and soccer goalies getting their arms severed for letting that last goal slip by. Read about how every single Iraqi citizen lived day to day with such a strong sence of fear that it was almost torture in itself.

People despise the US for flexing its arms, stepping in, and dismantling the Iraqi regime but the fact still remains. We are the strongest nation in the world with the deadliest and most state-of-the art military. its our duty to step in and defend those who cannot defend themselves and its equally our duty to step in and destroy evil dictators who can put the safety of the free world at risk.

If it wasnt for the United States, the Japanese empire would have conqured and ruled the entire continent of asia. If it wasnt for the United States and its Nato allies, Adolf Hitler would have conqured most of europe and continued to murder millions more innocent jews. Likewise, if it wasnt for the United States and the coalition, Saddam hussein would have continued to bully his own people and his neighbors and god knows what else. The man was a brilliant leader, but was pure evil at the same time.

The lives of our young men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan are at risk, but in the big scheme of things, the blood we have shed fails to compare 100 times over to the millions of lives lost due to terrorism on foreign and domestic soil. Dictators who strike fear in their own people with ruthless murder and torture deserve to fall and the United States' duty is to see that that happens.

those who disagree with my viewpoint should remind themselves of the hundreds of men and women who were faced with the horrific decsision back on September 11th, 2001 as to how they wanted to die. Jump or burn alive. And before you continue to rip our comander in chief about his foreign policy, remember that any one of those innocent persons who chose to jump to their deaths could have been you, your spouse, your parents, or your children.

So to all you liberals on this board who love to shove opinions down our throats, this is a rock and roll messageboard, not a political one. Im sure this election's democratic candidates would love you to post on their websites, but dont shove it down my throat when all i want to read about on this site is Social Distortion.

As for this election, show me a candidate who puts both Bush and kerry to shame and maybe I will be convinced that my 1 single vote will make a difference, otherwise i will sit back, let whoever is in charge make the descisions and I will support him 100%. If he sees to it that saddam and all those other terrorist fucks rot in hell, then i dont care who sits in the oval office.

Go ahead all you Michael Moore groupies, rip me a new asshole. Its your ideals im scared of, not the "chimp's"

Damn, I would like to give you some history lessons. Yeah Hitlers henchmen killed probably 6 or 7 million jews but don't forget what germans did with more than 12 million russian civilians (ohh these damned communist bastards..., Hitler was more against these russian people or have you forget it?). And a german concentration camp in ww2 was mainly filled with regime opponents, partisans, some pows and at least some jews (I don't talk here about death camps).
And Hussein, yea he is right if he says today that Kuwait was a part of Iraq and the allies (mainly the britains) occupied it in the last century for getting oil. There was also an iraq war in world war 2, Hitler's troops supported the iraqi against the britains and Kuwait doesn't exist in these days that's a fact.

The 11th september with all the victims...
Ask the families of innocent killed civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq what they think about it, there are more than in the U.S. for Sep 11th.

Iran is probably the next target for shure if Bush hangs around longer in your White House.

This Iran talk scares me. Iraq angers me, Iran truly scares me. I will be the one forced to fight in Iran. There aren't any troops left, and we all know what that means. I am not joking here.

Saddam presented no threat to this country or any other country. He barely had an army, possessed no WMD's, and if anything was keeping his split country stable even in the midst of crushing sanctions.

The world is not better off now that Saddam is gone. Because of Bush's crusade, there are more terrorists, more acts of terrorism, and a greater threat of further attack on the United States. As soon as we leave that place, all hell will break loose. When Saddam was in power prior to the invasion the country was one of the few peaceful non-Islamic states in the area. Iraq wasn't a great place to live, Saddam wasn't a stand up guy, but I would take Iraq 2000 over the modern Iraq any day.

Pits, I watched those people jump out of the WTC just like you did. However, I feel truly sad that they're deaths have been used as a tool for Bush to invade Iraq. Iraq and Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11, yet you and others still try to justify Iraq using 9/11.

Instead of discussing the topic in this post (Iran and how I don't want to be drafted) you decided to play dumb and then bark off a few Fox News talking points. I gotta give Republicans credit for one thing, they listen, obey, and repeat like champs.

Don't worry there will not be a draft, so don't pack for Canada. The only situation any pres. (Dem. or Repub.) would be able to justify a draft would have to involve a devistating attack on our homeland. Not one that kills a couple of thousand civilians, but one that kills tens -hundreds of thousands.(a nuclear, chem. or bio. attack).
The news of Iranian involvement/cooperation w/al-Quaida has more to do with political posturing. They have hundreds of wanted terrorists in their country and we want them. http://www.turkishpress.com/turkishp...s.asp?ID=22309
Iran will try to use them as bargaining chips in the fight over their nuclear power plants(and weapons...allegedly). In reality the Iranians have more to fear from the Isreali military than they do from an already overextended U.S. military. So sleep tight little ladies and hope that al-Quaida hasn't already smuggled a few soviet made nuclear breifcases into the U.S.

We have some real low brow fuckers on this board. The kind who are content working their blue collar, $15 per hour joe six pack jobs. They prefer to bury their fucking heads up their collective workshirt asses while fascists like Bush ensure that they will always be slaves, strip them of their civil rights, social security, healthcare and overtime. They get what they deserve. Fuck em.
